The Thermal Float is the perfect solution to your problem. The Grade 1 section of the awesome Waikato River is relatively flat, enabling your staff to use the current and the flow of the river to take turns leading the team down each section.

Control the raft/s, give the orders, navigate the crew. Perfect for gaining leadership and trust in your teams. Why not take a few rafts and have a race/competition amongst the company?

Experience the natural sights on New Zealand’s longest river, take in the fresh water – even hop in for a swim/float down. The Waikato River provides the best platform to bring a team to its true potential within any company.

WHERE: 15 MINUTES FROM OUR BASE IN TURANGI WHEN: ALL YEAR – EVERYDAY HOW LONG: GRADE 2: 3 HOURS BASE TO BASE (1.5 HOURS ON RIVER)

This section starts where the grade 3+ section finishes. With its fun easy rapids we have a unique opportunity to hand the “guides paddle” over to you and your crew. Self-guide yourselves, calling the commands and steering the raft. It’s a great chance to develop leadership and team work, with the river giving you instant feedback on how you are performing. It’s also a barrel of laughs for all involved and you will finish the trip on a big high. At the end of your exciting adventure, return to our base and warm up with a hot solar powered shower, and enjoy a cold Beer or Soad with a delicious River Dog (RNZ Hot-Dog) while viewing a slide show of images from your trip.

The best half day rafting trip in the country, 50+ exciting, technical rapids, spectacular scenery, trout laden pools, pristine, clear drinkable water, optional waterfall jump, and on river hot chocolate and snacks. This trip is not to be missed, your staff/team will talk about this trip for months to come. At the end of your exciting adventure, return to our Base and warm up with a hot solar powered shower, and enjoy a cold Beer or Soda and delicious River Dog (RNZ Hot-Dog) while viewing a slide show of images from your trip.

FULL DAY OPTION

Combine both the Grade 3+ and Grade 2 sections for the complete Tongariro experience.

With this option you get the thrills and spills of the upper section including the jump off the Puketarata waterfall (weather permitting), then with lunch provided and the skills you acquired from the morning session you and your team can take on the rapids of the lower section by yourselves (still under the watchfull eye of your professional RNZ Guide/s).

At the end of your exciting adventure, return to our base and warm up with a hot solar powered shower, and enjoy a cold Beer or Soad and delicious River Dog (RNZ Hot-Dog) while viewing a slide show of images from your trip.

The Rafting Industry has been legislated for over 25years so the new Adventure Regulation is nothing new to us. We will assist and provide you with all the necessary documentation to ensure your health and safety planning is streamlined.

We will include :

• Copies of our certificates of compliance.(Maritime New Zealand and Outdoors Mark)
• Copy of Qual Mark Award
• Public Liability Insurance Cover
• Hazard Management Forms for your particular activity
• Accident and Incident Report Log sheet for the last year.
